Paris!!

Our little plane taking us to Paris!!

The Eiffel Tower!!
This is the card Jeremy sent me in Paris!!! It was the sweetest card ever!!
A peace monument in Paris!!
Smelling some rose in Paris!!

This took my breath away.
This past weekend Sara and I went to Paris! It was the best weekend ever!! It took us about 8 hours to get to Paris. Very long but it was totally worth it! We arrive my friends boyfriends house and Tiffany tells me that I got a letter in the mail. I was really confused, why would I get a letter in Paris. I take the package and see that Jeremy sent it. So now I am even more confused, why would he send me something and how did he know where I was staying. We get upstairs and I open the package. Once I open it I was speechless. He hand made me the most amazing card ever! It was a list of 23 things I needed to do Paris! It was the most amazing, wonderful, and perfect card ever!! The party was so much. French people are pretty cool!!

We got up early the next day and set out to Paris. We went to out hostel first and dropped off our backpacks and set out to Paris. We went to the Eiffel tower first. It was AMAZING!!! it actually see it up close was so cool! I have seen pictures of the Eiffel tower alot, but to actually see it in person was amazing. We took a ton of pictures. After that we walked to the Arc. Again it was amazing to see something that I have seen pictures of before. After the arc we took a subway to the Sacre Cure. It was a beautiful white church, that had the most amazing view of Paris! Just breath taking! After the Sacre Cure we went and had dinner at a very nice returant.
We had brie, which I loved! And some really good wine and a yummy pizza. But the dessert was the best. We had Creme Brule, and it was AMAZING!!! Just amazing! After dinner we walked to the Muilan Rouge., which was pretty cool. After that we headed back to our Hostel. The hostel was pretty nice. They had breakfast in the morning for us, which was pretty sweet!

Yesterday, Sunday, we got up pretty early, had breakfast and set out for our last day in Paris. We first went to the Louvre. Which was AWESOME!!! We were there for all most 3 hours and could have spent all day there. There is so much to see. The art is amazing. The Mona Lisa was cool! I want to go back so I can see more. After the Louvre, we went to the Norte Dame. I was an amazing church.

Overall the trip to Paris was AWESOME!!! I want to go back again. We are looking to go to Amsertdam in the next couple of weeks and for spring break my mom is coming!! And the end half of my spring break I am thinking about going to Rome with the other student teacher, Matt. So I am busy travling and seeing as much as I can.

Our attempted sleding in a laundary basket!
This was last night. After dinner we played in the snow for all most a hour. It was a blast!!!
This was taken on our two hour snow delay! I love SNOW!!!
Throwing fresh snow!!!
Getting ready to play in the snow on our 2 hour delay!!

So yesterday I woke up at 6:00 in the morning with a phone call from my mentor teacher, Kathi, who told me that we had a tow hour delay from school because the roads to bad to drive. I had a hard time falling asleep afterwards because I wanted to play in the snow. I waited till 8, hopped in the shower, then woke up Sara and told her lets got play!!! She got ready as fast as she could but I was all ready ready and waited with my coat, boots, hat, gloves and scarf on ready to go!! I was so excited to play in the snow. I made my first snow angel!!! And just had a great time running through the snow!! Wednesday night after we got back from dinner, Sara, Matt, Mark and I played in the snow again. We found the perfect sledding hill! We grabbed our laundry baskets and headed out. They were the only things we had that could be sleds. We attemped to sled but failed. It was still fun to try. But we still played in the snow for awhile. Through ice balls, making snow angels, and just goofing around. I had a BLAST!! I am in love witht the snow! Tomorrow Sara and I leave for Paris, so there will be lots of pictures from that!!!

2nd Week!

So this was the biggest burger I have EVER seen in my life. And it was SO good too!!
This is a mural in Regensburg. It takes up the whole side of the building. Pretty cool!
Sara and I at the river. It was so pretty!!

Hello everybody! Well I am done with week 2 onto week 3! The time has flown by. This week I taught math everyday. The first day I was pretty nervous but excited! I did an okay job. By the next day I felt a little more comfortable with being in front of the kids and teaching. Everyday I am learning more and growing more everyday! I am loving being in the classroom and interacting with the kids everyday.

This week I went to an Indian food restaurant in Regensburg. And you wont believe this, I actually liked it! It was so good! I am just trying to take everything in. After dinner we went to an Irish pub and had a drink. The Germans sure know how to make a great drink!

I am sick right now. There is something going around the school and alot of people have been sick. I could use your prayers to get over this quickly because I teach all day tomorrow and the rest of the week. I am starting to feel a little better. The medicine is finally starting to work.

Friday Sara and I leave for Paris!! We are so excited!! I miss everyone back home!! Hope you all are doing GREAT!!!

1st offical week!!!

In Munich in front of a cool fountain.
A cool church in Munich.
It was so cold!
My friend Alex, who came to America to as a foreign exchange in high school. It was so good to see her!
On our way to Munich!!
First official day of student teaching!
Yay student teaching!!

Hello everybody!! Here we done with the first week, going into the second! It was a great first week. I am getting more involved in the classroom everyday. Thursday my mentor teacher, Kathi, had me do the teacher read aloud after the kids got back from lunch. I was pretty nervous but it went good. And Thursday after school Kathi and I sat down and planned next week math, which I am teaching!! I am really excited and nervous. Everyday I am learning new things and growing as a teacher.

This weekend we got the chance to go to Munich to see an old friend. Alex came to Arizona my senior year of high school as a foreign exchange student. We became friends but sadly lost touch after she left. We found each other via facebook and started to talk again. She found out I was going to Germany and invited us to come for the weekend. It was so good to see her. She took us out Friday night, which was super fun! Then Saturday we slept in and she took us to old Munich, which is the center of Munich. There is the shopping district with all types of stores. It was cool to just walk around and enjoy Germany.

One thing that I am not liking so much about Germany is the smoking. When we were in Germany we found out really fast that EVERYBODY smokes. Literally everybody. So when we went out Friday there were people smoking and then again Saturday. So I got a little sick yesterday ust from being around smoke so much. It is just very common for people to smoke all the time. So next time I am going to try and see if there is something I can take to help me not get so sick. Other then that I am LOVING Germany. The people are friendly and there is just so much to do.

We are looking a plane tickets for Paris, which is in two weeks!! I am very excited! We are also looking into going to Amsterdam some time soon as well.

I miss everyone back home. And am praying for all of you! Hope everyone is doing great!! Love you all!!!
